The Bridge

GMC partners with The Bridge for the benefit of local residents in Guisborough.

The Guisborough Bridge Association aims to provide life and support in the heart of the Guisborough community. Set up as a community project by Churches Together in Guisborough, it is an independent charity. We aim to respond to local needs with projects for both young and old.

Our foodbank drop-in service runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm. Clients receive a food parcel and a meal/snack with a voucher from a local agency.

When resources allow, we distribute food outside GMC on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. A small donation to the work is appreciated.

​

On Wednesday, GMC hosts "Bridge2Parents" - which is a parent support group with its main focus being parents of children with special needs. This offers a safe space where you can share experiences and information.

​

Every Thursday, we offer Hot drinks and bacon sandwiches from 10am, and Soup and Roll lunch from 11 am until 1.00 pm.
